The Agreement
By accessing or using the Satyasaar website, or by placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or place an order.
These terms form a legal contract between you and Satyasaar, a small atelier based in Bhopal, India. Throughout this document, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Satyasaar; "you" refers to the visitor or customer.
Our Products
Satyasaar creates limited-edition, made-to-order devotional sculptures and objects. Because each piece is hand-finished, every piece is, in some quiet way, unique. Slight variations in patina, finish, weight, or dimension are part of the nature of our craft and not considered defects.
Photographs on our website are taken with care to represent each piece as accurately as possible. However, colours may render slightly differently across screens, and the natural depth of bronze patina is difficult to capture in two dimensions.
Orders & Payment
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. The order is confirmed only when payment has been successfully received and we have sent you an order confirmation email. Until that moment, no contract exists.
- Payment is processed by Razorpay, a secure third-party payment gateway. We accept major credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and supported wallets.
- Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes.
- Cash on Delivery is not offered for our pieces, given their value and made-to-order nature.
- Pricing errors: if we discover an error in pricing after you have placed an order, we will notify you and offer the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Shipping & Delivery
Each piece is made to order. Production typically takes between three and four weeks from the date of order confirmation. Shipping then takes an additional five to seven business days within India.
- Delivery within India is handled by Delhivery, our trusted logistics partner. Tracking information will be provided once the piece is dispatched.
- International shipping is available on request. Customs duties, import taxes, and other charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
- Risk of loss passes to you once the package has been delivered to the address you provided.
- Failed deliveries: if a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or repeated failed delivery attempts, redelivery charges will apply.
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Returns
Because each Satyasaar piece is made individually after your order is placed, we accept returns only in the case of manufacturing defect or shipping damage. We do not accept returns for change of mind, gifting decisions, or aesthetic preferences after delivery.
If you receive a piece with a manufacturing defect or shipping damage, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery, with photographs documenting the issue. We will, at our discretion, offer a repair, replacement, or full refund.
Returns must be sent in their original packaging, with all accompanying materials. Once we receive and inspect the returned piece, refunds are processed within ten business days to the original payment method.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, for a full refund. After 24 hours, the maker has likely begun work, and we cannot accommodate cancellation.
To cancel, please write to care@satyasaar.com with your order number. We will confirm cancellation in writing.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Satyasaar website — including but not limited to designs, photographs, videos, written copy, the SATYASAAR wordmark, the brand name, the visual identity, and the names of our pieces (such as "Hanuman Sthir") — is the exclusive intellectual property of Satyasaar.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of our website or our pieces without our prior written consent. Owning a Satyasaar piece grants you ownership of that physical object only — not of the design, the brand, or any associated intellectual property.
Acceptable Use
By using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts, or data.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content or place orders.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Submit false or misleading information when placing an order.
- Interfere with or disrupt the site, our servers, or related services.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to anyone who violates these provisions, and to cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
Warranty & Restoration
Each Satyasaar piece is warranted against manufacturing defects for twelve (12) months from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, exposure to harsh chemicals, or normal aging of the patina (which we consider beauty, not flaw).
Beyond the warranty period, our atelier offers complimentary restoration for the lifetime of the piece — minor cleaning, patina refreshing, or surface care — should you ever feel your piece needs a quiet return to the atelier. Shipping costs are the owner's responsibility.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Satyasaar's total liability arising from or related to your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the piece in question.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or emotional distress — arising from your use of our website or our products.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be lawfully limited or excluded under applicable Indian consumer protection law.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, your use of our website, or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, we ask that you first contact us at care@satyasaar.com. Most concerns can be resolved quickly and quietly through direct conversation.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page will always indicate when the terms were last revised.
Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, please discontinue use of the site.
