Satyasaar is a small atelier based in Bhopal, India, creating made-to-order devotional sculptures and objects of stillness. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website, place an order, or otherwise interact with us.

- Technical information: your IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited — collected automatically via cookies and analytics tools.
We do not collect sensitive personal data — biometrics, government identifiers, financial passwords, or health information. If a form ever asks for it, please do not provide it.
How We Use It
We use your information for clearly defined purposes:
- To process and fulfil the orders you place with us.
- To communicate with you about your order, shipping updates, and any concerns.
- To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- To improve our website, products, and services through aggregated, anonymised analytics.

Who We Share It With
We share your information only with carefully selected service providers who help us run our business. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes.
- Razorpay — our payment processor. They handle the secure processing of your payment transactions.
- Delhivery — our shipping partner. They receive the name, address, and phone number necessary to deliver your order.
- Supabase — our database infrastructure provider, where order records are securely stored.
- Google — for fonts, analytics, and other website performance tools.
- Email service providers — for sending you order confirmations and, if subscribed, our atelier letter.
We may also disclose your information when required by law, in response to valid legal requests from public authorities, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to make your experience smoother. We use them to remember your shopping bag between visits, understand how the site is used in aggregate, and ensure essential functionality works correctly.

How We Keep It Safe
We treat your information with the same care we treat each piece. Our website uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS / TLS) for all data in transit. Payment processing is handled entirely on Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. Database access is restricted and authenticated.
That said, no system is perfectly secure. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Your Rights
Under Indian data protection law, you have the right to:

- Erase your data, where lawful and where we are not required to retain it.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time, without affecting existing orders.

How Long We Keep It
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy. Order records are kept for a minimum of seven years to comply with Indian taxation and accounting requirements.
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. After that, your contact details are removed from our active mailing list within thirty days.
Children
Our website and products are not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
